The Completely Naked Stage Workshop

The Naked Stage is a long-form improvisational theater format that creates a fully improvised, traditional multi-act play (usually two or three acts) with the intensity and structure of a written Kammerspiel (a chamber play.)

In the first Naked Stage workshop we learned how to do the format. In this one we will learn how to do it well. At least half of the attendees have taken the first workshop which will allow us to move forward with telling better quality stories.

This will involve focusing upon stagecraft, character, and setting. We’ll utilize silences, meaningless tangents, and jokes that are only funny to the teller to create these sometimes serious, usually funny, always absurd stories.

There will be one hour for lunch.
