The Naked Stage Workshop

The Naked Stage is a long-form improvisational theater format that creates a fully improvised, traditional multi-act play (usually two or three acts) with the intensity and structure of a written Kammerspiel (a chamber play.)

In this workshop we’ll learn the principles necessary to perform a improvised play that focuses upon character interactions, things left unsaid, and the little things that consume real people.

This will involve focusing upon stagecraft, character, and setting. We’ll utilize silences, meaningless tangents, and jokes that are only funny to the teller to create these sometimes serious, usually funny, always absurd stories. 

There will be one hour for lunch.
