This first session is all about cutting through the hype and learning how to use AI strategically within the tools and workflows you already use.

What to expect
Part 1: The AI reality check 

• We’ll start by challenging how you work today. You will learn a structured framework to evaluate your tasks before throwing AI at them:
• Don’t optimise what shouldn’t exist: How to question requirements, delete unnecessary steps, and simplify workflows before automating them.
• The automation hierarchy: A practical guide to deciding if a task needs AI at all, moving from simple elimination and native tool features up to deterministic automation and full AI agents.

Part 2: AI in your daily stack

• We will take the frameworks from Part 1 and apply them to the real world.
• Tailored to your tools: We’ll focus on the actual software and platforms you use every day.
• Live problem solving: Bring your most annoying daily tasks. We will work together as a group to break them down and figure out the smartest way to automate, augment, or eliminate them.
